Rigly Plant Hire Insights

Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a legal adviser and may change before the service opens to the public.

Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between the operator of Rigly Plant Hire Insights ("we", "us") and the company that signs up to use Rigly Plant Hire Insights ("you"). By ticking the box when you set up your company, you accept them on behalf of your company.

1. What the service is

Rigly Plant Hire Insights is an online tool for plant hire companies to record rentals and costs and to see profit by machine, site and month. It is a costing tool. It is not an accounting, invoicing or tax system, and its figures are not financial or tax advice.

2. Your account and your people

The person who creates the company is its owner. The owner and any Admins can invite other people and choose what each person can do. You are responsible for who you invite and for everything done under your company's account.

Keep your sign-in details private. Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Free trial

New companies get a free trial of 14 days. No card is needed to start. When the trial ends you need a paid plan to carry on. Everything you captured during the trial is kept.

4. Plans, fees and payment

You can pay monthly or yearly. The yearly plan costs less than twelve months on the monthly plan. Prices are shown on our website in South African rand, and we can change them for future billing periods by telling you in advance.

Payments are taken by PayFast, our payment provider, and repeat automatically each period until you cancel. We never see or store your card details.

Fees paid are not refundable for a period that has already started, unless the law says otherwise.

5. If a payment is missed

If your subscription is not paid, your company can still look at and export its data for 30 days, but cannot add or change anything. We email the owner and Admins every 7 days during this time to warn them when the lockout will happen.

After 30 days the company is locked. Only the billing page can be opened. You can reactivate at any time by paying, and everything comes back exactly as it was.

If a locked company stays unpaid, its data is deleted permanently after 6 months. We email the owner every 30 days beforehand. You can ask us to export your data before then.

6. Your data

Everything you enter belongs to you. You allow us to store and process it only to run the service for you. Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for having the right to enter information about your employees and customers.

7. Acceptable use

Do not try to get into another company's data, disrupt the service, copy it or resell it, or use it for anything unlawful.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or free of errors. We may improve or change features from time to time. We will tell you about changes that matter.

9. Our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for business decisions made using the figures. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law that cannot be limited.

10. Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from the billing page. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in an important way we will tell the owner and ask them to accept the new version before carrying on.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. You can contact us at info@rigly.co.za.
